I have experience teaching in both public and private schools, elementary and middle school. I work with students with special needs, on level, and gifted students.
I have led staff development classes in math and gifted education.
Attended national conferences across the US and a summer program at Columbia University.
HobbiesI like to teach with humor and make real life connections, this helps students feel at ease and relate. I enjoy trying new things and try to stay up to date in culture to relate to students.
I have two children of my own so I understand the desire for success from a parent and teacher point of view, which helps me step in to help more effectively.
